Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell your information or share it with anyone other than 1) the Event Organizer for the event you registered for; or 2) if another organization is expressly listed during the registration process (i.e. beneficiary organizations).
The Event Organizer will have access to registration information and may provide certain individuals or third parties with access to registration information. When using Pacific Multisports to register for a race event, information collected may vary by event. We will collect information about you including but not limited to: Name, Address, Email, Phone number, Date of Birth and Gender. At the time of registration of your first event with Pacific Multisports an Athlete Profile is created and stored on file on our site and can be used to register for future races. We store this information to be able to streamline the user experience when registering for future races. When logged into your profile you will also be able to see a list of events that you have registered for using Pacific Multisports and links to results from previous events.
We will also collect and store any additional information requested by each specific Event Organizer. This may include things like apparel size, lodging plans, photographs, and pace.
We will collect credit card information from you at the time of the transaction for the purpose of completing transactions to register for events. We will not store that credit card information on our servers or on the Site. The credit card information is sent directly, via secure means, to a trusted third party-operated payment service to complete a registration transaction. You can request to have your credit card information stored and only then do we store your credit card information with a trusted third party-operated online credit card vault storage company and not on our servers or on the Site. We confirm that these third parties have been certified as meeting high-level security standards as published by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

Links to Third Party Sites
In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our Site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We do not control and, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and practices of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).
Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Our Site and Services are a general audience website and are not specifically directed for use by children under the age of 13. However, we recognize that children may be eligible to participate in events listed on our site and protecting the privacy of the very young is important. For that reason, we do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to register for an Event or create a Profile on our Site. Only parents or guardians may register for a race or create a Profile for children under the age of 18. As part of the registration process, we ask the individual registering a participant for an event to confirm they are the parent or guardian of any registrants under the age of 18 and that they have consented to the collection of information for registrants under the age of 13.
We will not intentionally communicate directly with children under the age of 13. When there is a need to communicate with children under the age of 13 for the acceptable purposes under this policy (for instance to confirm a race registration) we will use the email address of the parent, guardian or adult who has created the Profile or registered the child for a race. Additionally whenever a child’s name appears in a public place on our site (for instance with their race results) the name will be truncated to first initial and last name and will not be shown with other identifying information like their street address.
